It’s no surprise then that Russia has one of the highest rates of alcohol consumption in the world, according to a 2011 report by the World Health Organization. That puts them fourth in Europe - talk about hard-drinkers!
Russia has a real drinking problem. It’s out of control - people are guzzling booze like there’s no tomorrow! In fact, it’s estimated that Russians consume 18 liters of pure alcohol per person each year. That’s way too much and it’s causing all sorts of health issues. It’s time for the government to step in and do something about this crisis before it gets any worse!
